My Chill Relaxing Outing Eating Day....:-)

Last beautiful Sunday morning, I had a valuable moments with my little one at the park. We eat together, playing while learning. We had an awesome time I would say :-) It reminds me when we are strayed in Australia before, where we love to do this picnic activities especially during autumn or spring time. I took this opportunity to educate my little one about healthy diet.I understand it is a huge different from his basic school in Australia and Malaysia.

I am so surprised when he refused to have vegetables in his meals. He told me that his Science's teacher told him that if we eat green vegan when we had a bowel movements the stool will become green in colour. I wanted to laugh but I feels so sorry about this wrong way of educate the children?
I tweaked??..hihihi...anyway that is very funny...lol..

Since one of my hobbies is gardening and I had a vegetable garden too at my home town, I shared this story with mom over the phone. We both laughed uproariously...lol

  • My vegetables garden at my home town...fresh from the land:-)

    We were at the park nearly to lunch time. It was such a beautiful scenery. We opted to sit facing the lake to enjoy the majesty of Allah creation. We had a set of rice each...[ can't get away from our staple foods right..:-) ] The foods was lovely and reasonable price with that portion too. We enjoyed our meals in every mouthful. Eating slowly is recommended for good health as it facilitates the food being thoroughly chewed and hence easier to digest.

    Though our tummy has overloaded...lol..we continued again our scenery side view walking slowly like a snail looking for a place to enjoyed our reading. Time flies so fast, we just realised that it has already 1700 hours and it is time for us to make a moved. It was an exciting experience and I hope that I have time to repeat it again.. in sya Allah..

    As mentioned earlier here is our lunch..beautiful scenery facing the lake..

    We arrived home safe and sound...alhamdullillah... After performed our second pillars of Islam, our tummy rumbling starvation...hihihi... I went to the kitchen and searching for anything that possible for me to cook...I got a loaf of bread with me now. Well, I just wonder what my little one request for... ^-^

    I smell something funny in my refrigerator..I searched gently what behind the box and I was a pack of 'king of fruit'...what else I should say..It is a DURIAN!!!!!..Alhamdulillah... Since I have all the ingredients needed, I decided to make durian dessert to eat with bread.
    That's our supper I assumed :-)

    This is our supper I assumed :-) The 'king of fruits' has drown in the pot...lol..yummy

    Although today I am delighted to eat what I wants and I am thankful with the sustenance given, but it remind me about special Islamic reminders which say that; 'The Food You Waste Is Another Person's Meal'...masya Allah. A Muslim is advised to avoid extremes and to choose a moderate course in all his affairs, including his eating habits. "Eat of the good things we have provided for your sustenance, but commit not excess therein." (Qur'an 20:81)

    Anyway, since I am a nurse and my mind of thought can't get rid of the food pyramid chain occasionally every time I had my meals. But how far do we really make used of the food pyramid as a guidelines in our daily life diet? Well, I have to be admitted that one of the main principals of good health is a balanced diet, therefore the food pyramid was designed as a guidelines for the society to have good healthy balance diet. Am I right? Prophet Mohammed emphasized the behaviour of eating less as a method of preventing sickness and diseases. Prophet Mohammed is reported to have said: "Eat less you will be healthier." (Hadith)

    Hope the this will be able to guide us and remind us back to track to have a healthy diet as possible as we can. Despite, with the time table above, indirectly it will trigger us to identify our correct way of dieting, food intake and portion in each meals...arrgg.. I should paste this on the refrigerator. Well, as we always hear...'Prevention is Better Than Cure'.... ^_^

    Innovation, New Way & New Look

    Business has two functions namely marketing and innovation. And this what I am working on, as I mentioned earlier in my mission to promote home care nursing and at the same time thinking and figure out how can I help the society in terms of moral support, physically and mentally. I believe in the spirit of sharing as been thought in my religious as it says by the Prophet Muhammad;

    "Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 589

    Despite I do feel that, that's all I can give as His servants which is contribute my nursing skills, energy and my hard work to the community . Generally, I have to admit that it needs courage and high motivation for me to achieve my aims to have my own home care nursing residentially
    [currently I only afford to provide mobile nursing care only :-( ] and mobile.

    To honour the support that I gained, I would like to express my thankful to my little one, my parents, my siblings, my loyal staff and to all my friends. They are always with me through thick and thin. May Allah repay all your good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad said;

    “God is kind and likes kindness in all things.” - Rihadh us-Saleheen, Volume 1:633.

    From nursing clinical and management background to own home nursing care. Well, it is definitely a huge difference. From wage earner to provide salaries to employees..hihihi..My home care nursing services was initially started all by myself. I still remember I do all the procedures, running here and there up and down to see patient from dawn to midnight. I am so ambitious and I am determine to fulfilled on what I dreams. I feels that is the best moment ever I felt in my life along my working career as a Nurse Manager either in the hospital or international company and I do it sincerely. In sya Allah, with my prayers and doa from my blog visitors.. in sya Allah it will be successful..Amin

    Even though, there are plenty for me to do in the check list...huhuhu.. but it still drives me to move forward to build my home care nursing empire.. in sya Allah..amin.. Therefore, to end my entry in my blog space, I totally agree with was said by the Prophet Muhammad;

    “There is reward for kindness to every living thing.” - Bukhari and Muslim.

    My Prayers Are Always With Them...

    Well... can I say this is all my collections?? Not sure about that though...many more comings..these is only a beginning. They are my precious lovely beautiful patients. They are beautiful to me... in my eyes. Do not forget that they used to be young once a upon a time... just like us. It is rules of life...the young grow old and the old just matter of time..we do not know when...Allah knows the answer and only He knows. My religion thought me the meaning of thankfulness. Yes, although they are not well, not healthy like the people out there..however they are still fortunate because they still have some one that really care about them..lovely children's, relatives, friends, good neighbourhood maybe and others.

    It is tough in Malaysia actually to convinced family members to get professional health care to come over to assist their loved ones. It is traditionally due to, I would say most Asian society are still in bound with self care hand in hand in looking after their parents or their loved ones by hook or by crook. We shall give credit to them and they are deserve it aren't they. However, is the implementation of the self care nurses equivalent to the qualified trained nurses? I am doubtful and puzzle where it leaves a million thousands questions in my mind. And my prayers always with them for their health and well being regardless of race and religions.

    I do understand with our current economic situations which is deteriorating and uncertain recently, however I do hope that the community will be able to think rationally about the needs of accepting professional healthcare in improving the quality of the health care for patients at home. Sometimes, in time where we are in needs, we have no choice to put aside financial as a barrier but we have to back to the old proverbs which says that...united we stand, divided we fall and where there is a will, there is a way.

    I think I shall stopped my fingers from dancing in my keypad though:-) In sya Allah we shall meet again in my lovely blog and I am pleased to share my daily professional healthcare career with all of you which is full with colours.
